Shutter speed is how quickly the shutter opens and closes and how a moving image is shown. A short shutter speed will show you a crisp image of the movement. Whereas a long shutter speed will show you the blurred movement because the shutter took longer to close. Shutter speed can also be explained as the length of time the sensor in a camera is exposed to light.So the camera can either be exposed to a lot of light or not a lot of light. Shutter speed is measured in 60th of a second.
